Financial Aid

Camp Roger strives to provide each camper with a great camp experience at a reasonable cost.

The sliding fee scale is based on household income and number of children in a household. For example, a family has an income of $28,000 annually. They have three children, and would like to send two of them to camp, one to a 5-day session and the other to an 8-day session. The cost for the first child would be $140 (5-day), while the cost for the second child would be $185 (8-day).

To request these reduced rates, please complete the Financial Aid section of the registration form when registering. No additional form is needed. A minimum $100 deposit will be required at the time of registration. Financial Aid will be awarded as long as funds are available, and you will receive confirmation of this award with your summer camp registration confirmation. Financial Aid funds may be limited as summer camp approaches. If aid is no longer available, you will be contacted by phone, and your deposit will be refunded.

Sibling Discount: A discount of $20 applies for each additional child in a family beyond the first child registered. Please send siblings' registration forms together. This discount does not apply for families already utilizing the financial aid sliding scale.

Financial assistance is provided by proceeds from Camp Roger’s annual Joe's Big Race event and contributions by individuals, businesses, and the Grand Rapids Community Foundation. The Grand Rapids Community Foundation supports local camping organizations at www.westmisummercamps.org.
